Im soon to be moving out off my current house and going it alone ive tried the HBcalculator but each time it has a different figure.
Most houses im after in my region are 500.00 per month after i have paid out my 2 loans i have 512.00per month for to live on
Not sure what tax credits i would get till i move
Any advise at all?

do they not take into account what your left with ?
985.00 is only 246.25 a wk thats before your deductions
Maybe ring them and ask0 -
Loan repayments are your own responsibility, they are not taken into account. You will not be entitled to housing benefit on £985. You earn a lot more than many people have to survive on. Find somewhere cheaper to live.Gone ... or have I?0

I earn £166 a week and when I was renting I wasn't entitled to HB and I'm on my own with 2 children.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Like HB are going to take into account loan payments, bills etc, before they work out if your entitled to anything. Not likely or most of the country would be claiming it.chickgettingthere wrote:do they not take into account what your left with ?

£246 a week is a heck of alot more than some people bring in a week."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -

I dont claim either but common sense tells you they wouldnt let you pay all your bills out of your wages before calculating HB.chickgettingthere wrote:Well it wa just a passing comment if i knew i wouldnt say would I.
