Quidco and payments for work?

Hello,
I've just signed up to Quidco and have a question I was hoping someone could answer.
I could boost my cashback going through Quidco for work expenses. Would my employer be able to find out if I was doing this? Does the money go to the card I pay for a purchase with (i.e my company credit card) or to the account I register with Quidco?:money:
Not sure how it all works and would appreciate some good old MSE guidance on this!
Thanks

Or you can have the money paid directly into your nominated bank account. (Mine is set at £1.)
I occasionally have to book accommodation ( for which I have to pay and get reimbursed) and do this through Quidco. It can take a while for the cash- back to come through, but last year I received about £30 in cash-back.0 -
Clearly theoretically you shouldn't.
Misuse
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Account Holders access to the Quidco Service, or parts of it, if in our reasonable view the relevant Account Holder or Account appears to be in breach of any provision of this Agreement.
A Member's Account must be used only for purchases on his/her own behalf, and not on the behalf of, or for the benefit of, any other person(s); we rely on the administration charges that are paid by Members, and by making purchases that benefit others, Members deny us the opportunity to earn those administration charges.

But... the worse that would happen is that they suspend you.
And they cannot keep track of all of the purchases and payments (I mean what card was used)..0 -
Just be mindful that your employer might be monitoring your internet activity. In other words, they might be able to see that you access a cashback website immediately before accessing a website on which you spend company money.
Maybe better do this from your own computer at home, if you can?0 -
You should be aware that *if* your employer became aware of your actions, it would be grounds for gross misconduct and hence summary dismissal. I would weigh up the benefits of using Quidco against the possibility (however small) of losing your job.Gone ... or have I?0

I wonder if employers would see this as being any different to expenses claims for work-related purchases on a credit card that gives cashback.
I know of a number of people who expense £10,000+ p.a. on Hotel accomodation, but pay for it on a cashback credit card - bagging themselves £100s in cashback.0 -

Why would it be gross misconduct. As per the above post, it is no different to using a cashback credit card. If the organisation does not have a policy stating that cashback sites are not to be used for corporate purchases they don't have a leg to stand on.0 -

One of the reasons is that simply because you are only supposed to claim the actual cost of your expenses, and with cashback you are effectively inflating your claim. They could say it was dishonest.
Obviously this would be very difficult to prove and most employers would not even dream of causing troubles for something so silly, but you never know...
Just to be aware of the posibilities...0 -
I have been wondering about this recently, I go through Quidco to buy all sorts for work, stationary, flights, acommodation etc.. as I am the person that does this for everyone anyway, I have built up a nice little sum in just a few months, but I am not too sure how my boss would feel if he found out, think he would be ok but dont want ask just in case!
Then again there has been times when booking through Quidco I have saved him money with offers and the like so is it swings and roundabouts?
How long does it take them to cough up the actual cash buy the way??
YDSMI wish I would take my own advice!0
