Yet another useless press article

....claiming that supermarkets can issue fines for parking in parent and child spaces, the blue badge scheme applies on private car parks, etc etc.

Some car park operators rely on the honesty and good manners of drivers.
However some supermarkets, including Tesco and Sainsbury’s, use fines of £50 or more to punish those caught by attendants using the bays when they do not have young children.

Typical load of rubbish from the press. Just how do they expect to collect these "fines". It's a pretty good way of losing business I would have thought. If it was not for the crossword I would stop buying the Mail.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I dunno, it comes in handy for picking up dog poo when you run out of plastic bags.

Personally I prefer the Telegraph. The longer strips it provides are far more efficacious, and far more absorbent, than The Mail.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Don't see any comments setting the record straight. Tried posting one but I guess it will be moderated.

Found this e-mail address for the article author - anyone fancy informing him? :)s.doughty@dailymail.co.uk

My comment has not shown either, looks like they don't like any criticism of the article's accuracy at all, guess thats their policy of free speach at work!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
