Hey everyone,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I thought I might as well try.
What are the laws on equity and who deserves what?
My girlfriend is currently battling with her husband over the equity in a house they both own.
They both agreed to pay 50% of their wages into a joint account in which the household bills would be paid but the husband hasn't kept up with that agreement.
Is he still entitled to 50% of the equity despite not paying 50% towards the house and it's upkeep?
Cheers
Gavin
