Fuschia Care in winter

I have several different fuschia varieties growing - should these be brought into a greenhouse in the winter or can they be left outside. Most are still small plants started off as plugs this summer.
Thanks

They don't sound like hardy fuschia so you need to protect them from frost.. I have kept some in pots in a very sheltered part of the garden covered over but if you have a greenhouse thats the place for them.. but not all greenhouses are frost free and they will need wrapping in sacking or fleece to stand any chance... I sometimes take soft cuttings now from each one just in case I lose the plants..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Hiya, I agree, if in any doubt take them inside.
I've only got a placcy greenhouse, which only zips on one side
(must get a new one), now I used fleece which can be bought on a roll from Wilkinsons/Garden Centres etc. Not very much money at all, and not half as much as new plants IYKWIM
This worked wonders draped over the plants in my greenhouse, through the sort of snow which hangs around for a week and frost and well you know the rest.

Pot them up and bring them in. I do this every year it works fine and saves on buying again next year. Mine are now several years old and grow well so i do have to cut them back when potting them up.0

I have 2 plastic greenhouses that fit along one side in my Glass greenhouse, I also make bags with fleece rather like a paper bags that fit over the plants and held up with twigs or wire what ever I have handy and tied round the pots and they keep very well with just a little water during the winter. then in spring I just take the plastic greenhouses back out side.0

I have one in a big 30 cm pot. Can I bring it into the house? Or is it best leaving out in the plastic green house all covered up?0
