Two child tax credits this month?

I always receive my tax credits on the 7th of this month and have just noticed another amount credit my account today for a totally different amount. I am not sure what this is for, and am puzzled to find out why i have received two payments this month?

Tax credits are paid weekly or four weekly hun, I would be surprised if you always get them on the 7th of the month. Might be that - would suggest you call them if you are not sure but according to the forums you will have a job getting through.0

Have you just renewed? They normally go a bit haywire with the payments just after a claim has been renewed0
