Hi
I need some advice please regarding student finance for 2010/11.
I am about to start the second year of my ITT (Inital Teacher Training) and have also enrolled on a BSc Top Up qual another one year HE course.
I have had previous funding via student loan and grant for Yr 1 ITT but wondered if I were able to apply for Yr 2 and the BSc Top Up together.
Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for two separate courses via Student Finance (Direct.Gov) at the same time?
Thanks in advance

that's not exactly surprising when it's difficult to see how you can be studying two full time courses at the same time0 -

You don't get a student loan for part time courses and you said that you had a loan last year for your ITT.0 -
Part-time ITT can get full time support. If you are taking an option for funding, choose this, and contribute some funds to paying your top-up0

According to the info on direct.gov PT I.T.T. which started in 09/10 or earlier can apply for FT support but courses which start in 10/11 cannot so the FT support will apply to the OP.0 -
Shows it's changed again. I don't have new applications to deal with, so wasn't made aware of this change. Think I'll check the regs tomorrow though. SFE have been known to give out wrong information. Their official reps on TheStudentRoom gave advice that would've made a student ineligible for support, and would've cost another student about £20,000 had I not seen it.0
