Can anyone recommend anywhere for a spa day packages?

Options
Hey all

I have a week off soon and fancy a spa day. Can anywhere recommend somewhere in between West Wales and Bristol to go? I live in Llanelli but am happy to travel to get there if needed.

I'd like a package that includes use of spa facilities, treatment like a massage and lunch. And around the £60-£80 mark.

I've been to Machynys and Dragon Hotel before so not either one of those.

Many thanks

How about the Vale - just off J34?

I've been there a few times (as gifts), and although a bit pricey, it is really lovely. I have sometimes seen offers on their website too.

  • There is a lovely spa at the Machynys Golf Club just down the road from you.

  • Nant Ddu logde near Merthyr do full day and half day spa packages. I paid £55 for half day. This includes pool area, gym, lunch, and one hour treatment. I arrived at midday and booked my treatment for 5pm slott...so finished everything at 6pm...so felt like a full day!The people who book in for the morning half day have from 9am - 2pm I think. But I'd rather have a lay-in and arrive by 12.
    Hope this helps

Try the Celtic Manor Resort. It is £32 for a day, but you would need to pay for a massage on top of that price

Laguna Spa in Cardiff is my fave. Lots of offers for treatments and full spa days at the moment too.

I've done the 'Pamper Me' day - it was fantastic. I'm fancying the Autumn Special - 3 treatments, lunch, all day spa facilities for £89 (and I have a £30 voucher to use too )

It's right in the city centre at the Park Plaza hotel. It's on Greyfriars Road between the Hilton and the New Theatre.

They have a relaxation room (lots of big comfy loungers and dim lighting) that overlooks the park behind the hotel, so you don't really know that you're in the middle of the city.

Ta, I know where it is now. It's defo top of my light at the moment. But the Nant Ddu one is a close second. The only thing putting me off the Nant Ddu is the fact that I'll have to drive cos I normally feel spaced out after a spa day! I can get trin or bus to Cardiff.

Bannatynes in Cardiff have lots of cheap deals!

Also, if your looking for something special I recommend St Brides in Pembrokeshire but it is pricey!
