Natwest world card

I have received a letter from Natwest today to say that they are converting my existing Mastercard into a Mastercard World card. It apparently has some "new insurance benefits", but does not list any drawbacks. It gives me the option to remain with my existing card. Is this a good deal or not? Should I opt out?

World mastercards are usually more difficult to come by - many of them carry a monthly or annual fee, at least when getting them not from your bank. They usually carry a higher fee for the merchants (which they must not pass on if they accept any other mastercards), and the banks use this fee to provide more services for you - if there are indeed no further costs for you, I don't see why you would be worse off...Enjoy the silence...0
