A little annoyed

Went onto Expedia yesterday morning to see about a 5 day trip to Amsterdam in October. We go regulary to Amsterdam but our usual hotel is closed down so had to look for another - settled on one but had to check with hubby when I got home from work.

Got home he said ok looks good - went to book it - it had gone up by £80 since the morning

I know flucations in flights, etc can change but for it to change that much in such a short time it really got to me. Hubby said its just life and be happy we are having a break away - only one this year, so we are lucky.

Just wanted to vent some thing. I doubt if I can get any help from Expedia about cost.

Thanks for listening to my moan.

Empty your cookie file and then go back and try to book it.

Travel companies put cookies onto your computer so that they can refer to their last price quoted next time you visit them. If you return quickly, they assume you will be doing so to book the deal and, if business is good, will up the price to increase their profit.

Went on line at lunch time and found this

Lastminute for same hotel - £419.25
Flights with KLM (same as before) - £189.68

    Total cost £608.93

So can I get a refund of the difference from Expedia?
