I have been looking through all the London threads and found some brilliant ideas from people who have visited- even I have been but I am still stuck!
I have a friend coming into the country and he wants to visit London so we have booked a two night stay. He is keen on military stuff and the Royal family. I have been looking at any deals for Buckingham Palace and such but have got bogged down like everyone else with all the info?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to put together a fast and furious day or day and a half trip please which takes into account what I have stated he likes? Bargains are most welcome!!
Thanks in advance

Kensington Palace may be worth a visit you can usually get 2for 1 entry if you travel by train.
Obviously Like you say Buckingham Palace and the changing of the Guard may appeal to your visitor.0 -

If he wants military stuff, I think it has to be the Tower. You may be able to get 2 for 1 entry at www.daysoutguide.co.uk or you can get 10% discount by booking in advance. There may also be linked-in deals for the other royal palaces (Hampton Court etc)."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
