  • Morning all

Yet again I've been rubbish with actually coming on here and posting! It seems that all I do is go to work and then come home and do housework!

Unfortunately bad news for me this morning, my OH's grandfather passed away which was expected but still a blow.

One of our cat's isn't very well and has been back to the vet twice in a week, looks like she will be returning in the next few days if these tablets don't work.

    Anyway, my DFW things today:-

    • [STRIKE]Feed cats & fresh water[/STRIKE] All done, one older kitten now on sensitive food and baby kitten on new food now
    • Write two reviews - one done
    • Sort EBay out
    • Go through our baby's room, need to hang stuff up and pack stuff away
    • Need to get a filofax or something similar
Feeling a bit low today with absolutely no motivation which is probably why my list is so short!

  • Fay - hugs from me too, hope things start to get brighter for you...you're always so lovely to everyone on here, you deserve some kind words back:A

Thank you all for my 'well-dones'...I do feel a bit of a cheat though as I used student loan to pay some of the debt - so in theory I do still have debt, but I don't earn enough to pay it back yet...will I ever I wonder?!;)
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • Morning all

I’ve been awol for a little while, although lurking now and then. It’s strange how the more time I have the less I seem to achieve! I’ll be back in work next week, so really need to make the most of the next few days.

Woo-hoo Milly, congratulations on your debt-free status!
    :j:beer:
Ooh, Fay, I hope you’re feeling better soon (((hugs)))

Sorry to hear about your OHs GF P-Peaches.

I’ve separated out my DF list from my general list, so here ‘tis:
    • Update banking/budget spreadsheet
    • Make additional payment on A & L card
    • Update CC balances if statements arrive today
    • All food from stores
    • Surveys
    • Collect brochures later and hopefully some orders
    • Phone A5da re missing bread from delivery
    • Read Martin’s email
    • Fill a bag to go to the CS

Hopefully will be able to get this lot done today so that it feels like progress :o.

    Have a good day all.

  • Milly, you're very kind...................thanks. We'll have a wee rest, pull our socks up again (OH wears stripey's now too) and then try again soon. :) xxx

I'm the same with the student loan - moved things to pay things off early - Martin says student loans are the 'best' and cheapest kind of debt doesn't he - I keep reminding myself of that :) - when my other debts are done I'll start a proper savings account for that until the rates change on the loans.

Peaches sorry to hear about your extended family loss (())

ps sorry you can tell I'm relegated to bed with a laptop can't you? I'll stop stalking you all soon..........xx

    Hi all,

Bit late on here but only just got a break from the little miss, who is now napping!!

So far i have done the washing and pegged it out on the airer.

Took pics of all DDs clothes im selling and listed them all on the parenting sites i frequent - no charges for selling :p Already got £10 worth (less postage) pending :j

Got DD to wee in loo 3 times today - meaning less wet nappies to wash later :o Clever girl she is :T

Going to make meatball stew later, depending on how DD is behaving. Since i fell yesterday i cant sling her on my back whilst i cook tea so will be interesting! Hoping to get atleast 3 portions in the freezer ;)

And going to change bulb in bedside lamp to an energy efficient one, just realised its the only one in the house still a 60w bulb:eek:and its on for approx 3 hours a day

    Good morning everyone,

I eventually managed to get my DS enrolled in the after school club so child care problems are not sorted.

    My list for today is:
    • Catch up with emails
    • Catch up onepoll
    • Check pigsback
    • Attend college
    • Check and water plants as required
    • Look into new freelance jobs
    • Attend work (8 hours starting at 1.30pm) Got finished early but I'm not complaining as I am still paid for 8 hours :)
    • Check mystery shopping sites
I think that is everything that I need to do today, so here goes……..

I seem to be on a roll this week that is three days that I have managed to complete everything that I had planned :j. I got finished work early tonight but not to worry as I still get paid for 8 hours. :)
