Travel in London, what is the best ticket option?

The Mrs, DD and I are going to London in Oct. We will be getting a Disabled Adult railcard for Mrs and 16-25 railcard for DD and Mrs also has an English National Concessionary Pass which allows her free travel on all buses in England inc Peak travel which our council funds. We will be in London for 5 days and our hotel is just in zone 3, Canning Town.


What should we get, a bunch of daily travel cards, or PAYG Oyster cards?

If we get Oyster cards where can we get the Mrs disabled discount added to it? Is it just London stations or any main line rain station?

I can't make heads or tails of TfL website just going round in circles.

It depends on how long you are there for.. Ideally get the Oyster for £3 deposit and then claim that back when you leave. You should be able to get the disabled discount for the said card when you apply for the card at the counter.

If you are not there for long then daily travelcards will suffice.

oyster PAUG coz of ur RC discounts and are cheaper than paper RC discount tickets. tube stations and special ticket places load the discount onto the card. works immediately.
