Twickenham Parking this Sunday?

Hi we have bought Help for Heroes Tickets on Sunday at Twickenham. In aid of a great cause, and in memory of someone we lost recently. We are now trying to find some cheap parking nearby as we don't want to be too far away. Any recommendations? With just myself and my girls coming, we do not want to be too far away.

Google-map the postcode and then look on street view, see what the restrictions are on Sundays by zooming in on signs (unless they have changed since the street view was recorded!).
Or Google the postcode and keywords 'car parks' or 'parking'...or the postcode with keyword 'Supermarkets' if like me you like to collect private parking tickets & ignore them.:oPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Chase Bridge Primary School, Kneller Road, TW2 7DE is a ten-minute walk from the stadium, and they charge £10 for parking all day on Twickers event days.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
I've used parkatmyhouse.co.uk more than once before for parking around Wembley for gigs etc...basically you pay someone a small fee to borrow their driveway or parking badge. You could give it a go and see how cheap you can get it for Twickenham. Should be less than a tenner.
Having said that though, as its a Sunday I would be surprised if residents' parking schemes are in operation, meaning you should be able to park on most streets nearby without issue. Coupon-mad's idea of Google Streetviewing the parking restrictions seems a good one, as does the supermarket idea  ! Personally I'd get something arranged before I left rather than risking it and finding myself driving around for hours without finding a space, but that's just me.0 -
If you Google 'Twickenham rugby parking restrictions' (as a newbie it won't allow me to put up the direct link) and go to the richmond.gov site it will give you all the information and maps for the restricted parking areas on event days.0

Just to show the simple advice to 'Google the postcode and then do a virtual streetview' works for any parking search, one example last week was when my teenage son and I visited a University Open Day at a City I had never visited before.
Uni's always say you can't park onsite for Open Days and their best suggestion was a large car park a bus ride away at a tenner a day! Nope, not paying that I thought - so a quick Streetview virtual drive right outside the Uni and around the residential streets showed me the smaller roads where there was unrestricted parking. If there are restrictions you can zoom in and read them.
There were no large Supermarkets or retail sites nearby so we couldn't use that option.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
