A Monday morning washer or a Friday afternoon?!

:(Hi there, was wondering if any1 can tell me where I stand. I bought a washing machine with cash (still have receipt), from a small electrical shop near where I live, after only 1 month it aquired a fault (wouldn't spin). I went back to the shop only to be told I had to take it up with the manufactor, which I did, they sent out an engineer (after waiting for 1 week) he couldn't find a problem and it seemed ok again. Now its started doing the same thing, and I've only had it approx. 7 weeks. I really want my money back or at the very least a replacement washing machine because I know I am only going to have problem after problem with this one! Do I take it up with the shop owner, or the manufactor? And am I entitled to my cash back?

Can you change the font colour as your post is really difficult to read.

Your contract is with the retailer, not the manufacturer, and as such any remedy should come from them. You're unlikely to get a full refund but the retailer are obliged to offer a repair, replacement or maybe a partial refund.
