  • It's a good idea! (though i cant stand this government).

    ANYTHING that gets people off of benefits that should not get them, or at least downgrading the people that 'put it on' is good as a whole.

    (and yes...i do understand the system as my daughter is severely disabled)

    there is only one very specific type of fraud that ‘bounty hunters’ are even moderately successful at uncovering – it’s got nothing to do with TVs, gardening or DIY and even then the success rate is only 1 out of every 25 investigations launched;

    But what sort of fraud is this?
    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
    Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
    So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:

    It looks like people claiming to be single parents when they have a live in partner are the people most likely to be commiting fraud from what i've made out.
    :eek:

    I guess it's the easiest way for people to commit fraud as the DWP just take people's word for it when they say that they are single.

    if there was a 'real' chance of being caught comitting benefit fraud ( as opposed to now where it seems relatively easy to get away with it) it can only be a good thing and serve as a real deterrant to people looking for an easy living.
    the people that commit fraud only serve to make things harder for genuine claimants.

    I agree so many pol get away with it, I know 2 pol who claim housing say not with partner but he seems to live there,
    I also know ppl who claim dla there child has ADHD but yet they get tablets and bin them, waste of nhs funds just so can get the dla, yet the kids play out alone rds away allowed to go shops on there own.
    Just annoys me so I'm all for cutting down on this
