Nokia E63 on Three - Constantly Restarts & Drops Signal - 6 Months in Contract

So I'm 6 months into an 18 month contract with a Nokia E63 on 3; paying £20 a month, not to bad of a deal for what I get, dont mind at paying at all. They told me I would get Excellent signal where I live, and to be fair the rest of my my family do as they are on 3 as well.
The problem is that my phone has had a problem of restarting itself, its getting worse at the moment now, and does quite a few times a day, also the signal is always dropping out.
Rung 3 customer services who told me to update phone software, which I have done already, twice now. And, went through the troubleshooting etc, still having the problem, they told me I will have to get it sent to their repair centre and that could take around 2-3 weeks to fix, and I will not get a loan phone in the meantime.
I cannot be without my phone for that amount of time, I use it quite a bit, and have my work and university emails pushed to it (the salesman on the phone said it was excellent for email, even though when you leave inbox up the phone resets after 5 minutes)!
I dont want to leave Three and dont want to get out of paying my contract because I like the network and the minutes, texts, net etc..
Just want to know where I stand with this repair info they are giving me

It's probably a little bit unreasonable not to give you the loan of a basic handset, but they don't *have* to give you one - you are paying them for the service and you can still use the service by putting your SIM in another handset.Just want to know where I stand with this repair info they are giving me
I'm afraid it sounds about right.
Either keep pressing them for a loan handset (try instore maybe?) or else borrow or buy a replacement whilst yours is in for repair.0
