Sale completion thank you to estate agents?

I was very impressed with the sale of my property within FOUR days to a cash buyer. The estate agents were fantastic and adviced me to stick to full price and as such an extra 10K. I know they are getting paid but I would like to give them a thank you gift on completion date. I am thinking of sending flowers, chocs and a bottle of wine via interflora. Is this done? Is this sufficient?
Two people were particularly wonderfully especially when I was going through hell with my sitting LHA tenant. They never once said I told you so and they listened to my moans, even though I got the tenant from another fly by night agent.
I would appreciate your thoughts.

It's a nice sentiment but I never feel that it's necessary to offer additional money to a true professional, your sincere thanks should be enough. Save your tips for low paid workers.
Just today a colleague and I were agreeing that EAs are often disingenuous individuals, I'm heartened that you have had a good experience.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Maybe you could write a letter to the members of staff who were particularly helpful to you. I'd be really chuffed to receive something like that, and I'd be sure to point it out to the boss at appraisal time! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0

i'd send a lovely letter and maybe a big box of chocs, anything else if there is more than one or two of them how would they divide up the rest'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

If it's a national EA I'd be tempted to send a nice letter to head office naming those that helped you so well.
Thank you card to the actual bods and if you're a dab hand in the kitchen, home made cupcakes or chocolatesInside this body lays one of a skinny woman
but I can usually shut her up with chocolate!
When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.

A well-written letter or letters of thanks, sent directly to those you think deserving of same.0

When i worked as an EA, we used to get lots of boxes of chocs which were always nice as we could all share them in the office. Flowers tended to go to whichever negotiator had dealt with the full sale. A nice card is always gratefully received too.£2 Savers Club #156!

Only they valued my house but I already had my figure in mind and I got full price which was 10K more than I anticipated.
I took a thank you card, flowers, a bottle of wine to be opened on completion day and a box of chocs. I went in person to deliver so saved some money on interflora and gave my thanks in person. I may never have any dealings with them again, but I have known them for years. I bought through them and sold through them. The only time I rented it out through someone else I cried. Sorry to be so sentimental.
Now to find a house to buy!0
