NUS Extra card - Grrrrr!

Got an NUS Extra card last year which expires in October.
Just tried to get the code for Amazon's student discount from NUS Extra site.
Can't get code because they say my card doesn't entitle me to new offers on their site - it can only be used in shops! Despite being registered last year with the site (and I have emails to prove it), it seems that they reset in September, so you don't get the full year's facilities. Now they say that I have never been registered with them and my email address is not recognized.
Got to say I think it's a bit of a stink and a nice little money earner for NUS - 11 months for the price of 12!:mad:
