printers

I am looking to buy a 3 in 1 printer which is basic but easy to use and cheaper to refill. I have seen so many on offer in the multiples but am confused which one to go for. I would prefer a wireless one but it cost quite a bit more than i can afford. You may be able to advise from experience.
Thanks

At work we have a HP officejet 4500 like this one. We were looking for a multifunction with a small footprint. It will scan, fax, print and copy. It takes 901XL cartridges which are not too expensive. All this for £49.99, not bad value I reckon..

  • Be cautious about compatible inks! I know they are much cheaper and can be used quite successfully but on one website a man who had worked in the compatible industry warned people about their use. I have had trouble with compatibles myself but I now use genuines by Epson at about half the price from Amazon.
