Cashing in an Axa life assurance policy

My Mum in law has been paying into a life assurance policy since Nov 2000. The assured sum if she survives until 2015 will be £2134 and she has been offered £2037 by Axa if she cashes it in now. Is it worth trying a broker to see if she can get a little more or will their commission negate it. It seems a no brainer to me as she would have to pay £20 per month for 60 months just to get an extra £97, but any advice would be gratefully received.....

Its unlikely anyone will be interested as it appears to be a savings endowment rather than a full endowment.

Future returns are unknown. It could be less than £97 or a lot more. It is highly unlikely that it will actually match the sum assured. That 15 years that would be unusual.

What is the guaranteed minimum maturity value? That needs to be compared to the surrender value.
