most likely the pump faulty.
cost about a tenner for a pump. probably 50 quid ish for someone to do it.Get some gorm.0 -
thank you:)
wondering if its owrth repairing
its 5 years old and had a lot of use0 -
If you have washing stuck inside..... pull the machine out, turn off the electric, disconnect the grey waste hose and lay it into a bowl or a bucket, this will empty the water out of the machine. When its empty put the plug back in and turn the electric back on and you'll be able to get the washing out.
It might not be the pump ! it could be the pressure switch that has got blocked or gone faulty again cheap to replace.
Personally a 5 year old machine is worth repairing provided its not going to cost a fortune. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
if it wont cost much to fix then yes its worth getting it repaired,0

I would say get it repaired if it's less than say £90 (obviously depending on the cost of the machine in the first place)
I had a similar problem with a machine in a property I rent out. It turned out to be a damaged mounting unit where the drainage pump sits, not the pump itself though. Cost of repair was £70 including call out fee. They actually came twice to the property within a week. I was happy with this.0
