    if you search for that toshiba on google you can get it for as little as £714 free postage, i think i even saw one for around £700...

    hi, dads asked me to ask if that samsung tv has 'progressive scan' or not..not my forte.

    I don't understand. What's that all about, please? E mpire Direct shows the Toshiba as having 'progressive scan,' and gives a partial explanation. It is silent on this feature with the Samsung so we can assume there isn't any progressive scan. Reminds me of the days when Japanese motorbikes all had lots of initials which didn't end up meaning very much...you know 'XPMF delta box system...exup...srad...' etc etc
