At my local Tesco (Blackpool Extra) on NYE managed to pick up some Cadbury's Dead Heads for 1p. Although, they were marked at £1.09 on the shelf so took a chance and took them through the self serve and they came up at 1p so went back and got the other 60 bags. These were the chocolate with caramel in for halloween. 80 grams of chcolate for 1p not bad at all. Barcode: 5034660520863.

The reason why i took so many was because we were having a NYE do and there was a lot of family coming over so I managed to get rid of a lot that way.
Also they have got until June 2011 on them so I can take them to work and I barely ate any choclate over Christmas.

Popped into my local tesco today and picked up some "la doria" branded mandarin orange segments in syrup which had a SEL of 27p but scanned at 1p- needless to say I dashed back in and I now have a cupboard full of mandarins! :j:rotfl:Ahhh the simple things! HTH someone though :) xxx

I had forgotten about picking up these tins on 30/12 after hearing someone at the till telling the SA they were 1p so I picked up 9 cans and left about 20 odd for the next person.

thanks for this now fully stocked on mandarins:rotfl: pcked up some bits while i was there and unusually they were doing the reduced quite late tonight and picked up some nice final reductions, also got a razor for £1.89. However one of the yellow stickered beauties went through at full price because of a dodgy wet label:T:T:T:T:T and was fortunately a item that was reduced to 40p from £4.00-quick trip to cs and 7.20 back so 3 large full bags of shopping including a razor only set me back 3.50 all together. have to love those wet yellow labels.

pardon my ignorance but how did you get £7.20 back for the item wrongly charged for £4.00? ( sounds good to me, though :) )

    Double the difference.
And yes, they SHOULD..... you might sometimes have to stand up for yourself and ask for it though!
