just been to my local extra,they had castle buckets sel £2.50.took one to till with shopping scanned at 1p.went to get more and use self scan but when i scanned them they didnt register when i had put them in bag,so sa came over saw price and refused to sell them to me,she then got supervisor who said same.not happy,was going to give them to my mum to use for charity she does alot for.rant over!!

I've always found the best thing to do when you've had a bad experience is to ring customer service up in the car park there and then - this only works when they have been rude to you (if they have politely refused a 1p or a coupon their customer service backs them up) explain what happened and they were actually rude to you and you were made to feel embarrassed in front of other customers!
This happened to me, I wasn't bothered that they'd refused a £1 printed coupon, I was upset because the 'supervisor' had been extremely rude to me and other customers were staring! I got an apology and a £10 gift card and the assurance that they would repremand the supervisor!

I agree. I have only had good experiences of tescos on the phone. Had a few 10.00 giftcards out of them now too. If you have DTD refused in store I find it much easier to call them and they sort it immediately by giving you DTD On a giftcard :T:T

they only have the pickles cabbage in my local and its scanning at 69p i think it is. hopefully they bring in the beetroot and its at 11p ...othr half loves the stuff :-)
