I think lots of regulars are on holiday and it's the school holidays which means it's far harder to post, I have'nt posted as much lately because I've just been so busy! If their's a secret club I want to know about it, and won't be posting tonight as having a night with the girls, a few bottles of wine and indulging in a spot of celeb Big Brother:rotfl::rotfl:
And also am going to add something which is totally O/T but my DS came top of his year today with his As results, he got all 5 A's so I am one proud mum who has been emotional all day and fit to burst, especially as he was 8 weeks premature and I nearly lost him and then at 5 I was told he needed special needs extra help as he was behind, dyslexic and only half his sight had developed so he needed glasses.Have been told by his school that he should be applying to Oxford or Cambridge and he now a intelligent, kind, handsome kid who I am so proud of!!!!
You hit the nail on the head there! We have been away and OH is under my feet with hours being cut to only 2 and half days a week, and with oldest DD back from uni I don't seem to get a minutes peace to come and post as usual.
Big congratulations to your son, was exactly in your postition last year my DD2 got 5 As, it is a wonderful feeling. This year she got A* and 2 As and is off to medical school (guessing celebrate may have some tips). You must go and look at Oxford or Cambridge that is a wonderful experience even if your son decides it is not for him. We visited Oxford and saw where part of Harry Potter was filmed. The architecture is amazing on its own. My DD did not apply as decided wanted patient contact early on to build her confidence so applied to those unis which incorporate that in first years.
Sorry didn't get to post last night I don't have internet access on my phone but the tins of pizza tortellini are scanning 75p at Fleetsbridge Poole, there were no beans and sausages unless shelf been restocked today but some chicken and sweetcorn and carbonaras left. The value strawberry cereal bars scanned at 99p too. HTHs0 -

Thanks Tiny shoes, we have visited both this year and know exactly what you mean, they are both truly magical places. DS was asked to go for a maths lectures day last month at Cambridge and we got the full tour and I think I fell in love with it more than him!MSE is even more important to me now as I am saving like mad for when he starts at uni next year:) Well done to your DD for getting what she needed and getting where she wanted.Oh Gawd no I'm getting emotional again writing this, but then again it could be the hangover kicking in from last night:rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

You are a star hon. Got your email and thank you so much for your reply and also for the Playdoh. Heading out to a new store (for me anyway) so I'll keep an eye out for Lego for you.0 -
which medical school; out of interest?
Keele, she had 3 offers out of her 4 choices for medicine am so proud of her. She picked Keele for another reason too as she is very sporty and there is an elite club for her sport closer than would have been for any of her other offers and it took pressure off her in exams as other offers were all As and Keeles was AAB. She will be a long way from home and is very nervous. But thanks to you all on here will be going well stocked and probably have the best saucepan set thanks to Mr T!0 -

Of course you will have already been, what was I thinking everything starts so early if applying Oxbridge or for med. We had tears earlier in the year as she was rejected from the her 1st choice that was closest to home but I think it was not meant to be as I know she would have tried to come home every 5 minutes. Good luck to your son I hope he gets where he wants it is very nerve wracking and we found a drain on finances for a while with the added petrol costs of uni visits. Can't join you on the hangover front this morning even though very well stocked from Ts glitches, we celebrated with a takeaway. DD had work early this morning so would not have been fair on her if we had opened a bottle. But tonight might be a different story!0 -

Denby SEL was full price in my store when I looked.
But I do have a 70% off TU Sainsbury set.
Anyway just thought if I had found Denby pretty sure I would have kept that for myself! And she could have gone with my chipped plates!0 -
In all this chat forgot to post this...oops! Seems cheaper than normal to me so got a few.
