I think lots of regulars are on holiday and it's the school holidays which means it's far harder to post, I have'nt posted as much lately because I've just been so busy! If their's a secret club I want to know about it, and won't be posting tonight as having a night with the girls, a few bottles of wine and indulging in a spot of celeb Big Brother:rotfl::rotfl:
And also am going to add something which is totally O/T but my DS came top of his year today with his As results, he got all 5 A's so I am one proud mum who has been emotional all day and fit to burst, especially as he was 8 weeks premature and I nearly lost him and then at 5 I was told he needed special needs extra help as he was behind, dyslexic and only half his sight had developed so he needed glasses.Have been told by his school that he should be applying to Oxford or Cambridge and he now a intelligent, kind, handsome kid who I am so proud of!!!!

Wow! well done to DS, you have every right to be proud and he should be so chuffed with himself. :T:T:T
Sorry no 1p finds for me, but am thinking of going over to the big Extra on sat for some more pasta meals (though I do have a lot in atm :o) wombled some more receipts tonight as I had a bit of time before dance class, one has 20 cc point to get, there was another that looked really long stuck between a bunch of trollys. Well try as I might I couldn't get to the darn thing, would've kept trying (trolly's needed £1 each so not easy to separate) but it was right in front of the store...which has a big glass front and the checkouts all located in front of the windows...I'm sure 3 SA saw me and wondered what on earth I was doing :o:o decided to leave it in the end before security got called, but am slightly kicking myself now....

Just back from a Metro store - had to nip in for milk managed to pick up these Play-Doh mini Fun Factory set for 24p. Got the last 6. Caz, there are 3 with your name on them ;)

Are these only in small stores? Never seen them before but then I haven't been in a Metro in years.

Thanks WBMF - have sent you an email as I'm rarely in Belfast city centre :(

Edit: congrats to your son nikkilala. Always nice to hear about someone beating the odds and coming out top!

Now that officially found a 1p item do you think the regular posters that have gone off and formed their own private club/site will let me join? I'm not saying that they have done this, it just seems strange that it went quiet on here all of a sudden. :(

    I'm still here!

I'm not part of any private group, and in the nicest way possible wouldn't want to be,like it here too much ;):)

and I also owe peeps on here alot of thanks for past finds and any deals I may find will always be posted on here! :)

and many the laughs 'we've' had along the way too!

thanks and well done on your 1p find happychappy!

maybe I'm a 'little' bit sad but I love reading peeps posts and seeing my 'friends' names pop up on here :o lol :D

On another note, when I was at T's earlier I wombled a receipt, the points have already been claimed but I was going to put it through pricecheck until I read it. Two of the items are....

    Staff Guardian* £8.97
    Police Dog Unt* £8.97

    Hmmm.

That is absolutely fantastic news, congratulations nikkilala and to your son. I too would be a very proud mum in those circumstances.

Happy Friday everyone, let's make it a great one
