1p finds at Tesco thread

:j:j:j went to All**ton Rd store today that i don't get to very often and I found 3 pairs of dad socks for 25p. They had loads of grandad ones if anybody looking for some. Not been able to find any in my local stores so was pleased with them. Also able to find a lonely belt that OH will be really pleased with for £1.25.

I noticed on one of the strips three pack handkerchiefs that I remembered from some time back, they were priced at £4.50. As there were 5 packets I asked CS to pricecheck for me. When she replied sorry I can't sell these to you and kept them I knew they would be 1p so promptly went back and got 3 packets (left one for another MSE in the area). :T:T:T went to self service till and yes they scanned at 1p and have already made 3 family members day by giving them away and telling them to tale!!!!

Enjoyed my Tesco trip today and can't believe I was able to get 3 different items in the one store, puts my two local stores to shame

Hi all, no penny bargains for me today and the Peroni was all sold out (Husband gutted, it's his fave!) but I did find some nice price cuts in the olive section, Crespo tinned green olives with lemon stuffing, reduced to 25p from £1.06 (these are fab for making dirty martinis!) and Tesco sliced black olives (small can) 16p reduced from 33p. Great for salads as the small cans hold just enough to serve 4 and my toddler wolfs these down so I got 24 cans, left 24 for other bargainistas.

Lots of other price cuts down the same aisle, various salad dressings, beetroot, chutneys and sauces all Price cut to half price or less.

can anyone help i can't find the thread for the just water drinks, thing its to get a voucher, saw the lemon and lime today in tesco's, thankyou in advance xxxxxxxxxxx

I found about 7 of the mice in pr*sc*tt, mers*sid*, last saturday. I took 3 nearly wetting myself. thought id leave the rest for others. anyway went to SS with other bits and it alerted for security tag. girl said cant let you have them for a penny. called supervisor who said were had i got them and i just said off shelf on computer bits. anyway he refused them. so i thought dont make a fuss otherwise draw attention to myself. waiting to see if they are still there but i bet staff have got them. really disapointed. did not know what to do ie make a scene or be dignified. sorry i didnt put up a fight now. never mind

Thanks so much Faye Ray. I got one (only one left!) and they were actually priced on the shelf as 25p too!! I wouldn't have looked otherwise, so cheers :beer:

ooo if i didnt have 2 kids in bed (niece is staying over) id be off out in the car ... considering should i ask friend to pick some up cos know they are working there tonight.. hmmm... lol ????? :rotfl::rotfl: I got some 50p mum socks in there last week - much better than my usual store i think - specially for the normal reductions on meat etc. ive never got a dtd or glitch in any store but do love reading about them...

I notice O.S store has got the 19p orange jelly - its in middle of all the other flavours which are all 38p each on the fridgetops opposite the pizzas. The "this water" you can get free with the vouchers is in the sandwich chiller at the front.. just for any other friends of martin in the lpool area.

I went on a penny hunt today(as i always do with no luck usually), managed to find pack of hankies 3 in pack for a penny(black check with yellow,white,black check with blu) marked at £4.50 was 1p 5052004162852, harpics for 12p they were mixed in with dark blue ones that are £2.80 ish, these are light blue 5011417549711, pair of kids sunglasses for 75p 5052319929294 (not worth any more tho) also checked for squeezy jam they had no stawberry but the apricot was scanning at half the sel about 60-70p can't remember as i didn't get any as my lot dont like it, many thanks to original posters as i have been on the look out for ages but finally today got some, it is weird though that there are non & then weeks later the odd few pop up, keep looking as u never know
