Has anyone bought the Tesco finest strawberry cream tarts lately, found 3 last night in the old style packaging, but went through at £3 each. Asked the SA if I could leave these back, thought they were on offer, no problem, wanted to check it out for me, but persuaded her it was fine. Have to start looking for the Choc Puddings instead!0

In the last few days I have managed to track down several boxes of mens pants and socks - but they are £1.25, while others on here have quoted £1
Also, all Dad socks I find are half price at £1, not 25p.
Not really worth it - imo
But I did manage to find a lonely box of 3 mens hankies which scanned at 1p
Made my day:p
i found the boxes of socks and the boxes of socks/pants.
i had 10 boxes 9 priced at £1.00 and u sock/pants priced at £1.25 which the sales assistant and i had not realised.
the sales assistant counted the 10 boxes and was going to put them through when i honestly said 2 have got socks/pannts, or she would have just put 10 boxes at £1.00 (too honest). a supervisor just happened to pass and said those socks/pants are £1.25, i picked one of the boxes up and said £1.00 lable on, so she said do you want them or not?
but they are £1.00. but she wouldn;t have it and i ddi not want to lose purchase, looked through boxes and saw there was actually 1 at $1.25.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
so they should be as far as i am aware - all ready had an issue going on wiht a telly and never made a complaint before in my life so left it ata that.

Loads of the glasses at Bar Hill, but all the 4 for £3 labels have been removed (you can see where the sticky label was on each one. Gits
)
Seems like the store staff are waaaaay too efficient around the Cambridge/Royston area, I never seem to have much luck. Although I have been stocking up on the Sungrown discount brand lemon and coriander couscous at the moment - used to be 60p now 34p (SEL says "new price" rather than RTC or special offer, but I don't trust Tesco not to put the price back up again) We now have rather a lot of couscous (well the BB date is July next year so it'll keep) OH keeps saying "more ******* couscous?" when I get back with the shopping...DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
Ah, thanks for asking:) He's a lot perkier this morning, but the little b****r knows every time I try to give him a tablet, even when I make it into total powder and mix it with his food!! He's back at the vet this afternoon just to check it's healing ok so not looking forward to that, he hates the vet anyway and they usually have to muzzle him as he goes into a blind panic.He's usually the most docile staffie in the world but the minute we turn left at the traffic lights before the vets he starts to pant and shake. But they are really good and come and get us out of the car when the vets ready rather than make him wait inside. Just wish animals could talk so as we could explain it's for their own good
Before I had him never thought I'd turn into such a doggie person, but after 10 years he is such a big part of our family.
strangest looks...he makes such a racket and we sometimes have to wait outside with him too because he will whine the place down. No one believes us when we say that he is completely calm at home. He is difficult with his pills too but we usually get those plasticky cheese slices and wrap it in. That or a smudge of peanut butter...he can't resist!
Rufydoofym, I had trouble finding the chocolate puds as well, but managed to get one yesterday from the frozen section. The sel has been £2 but it scanned at the lower 80-88p price! :j The Tesco NY cheesecake however, was not!
Forget to mention in last post, that the Tesco Belgian Chocolate Assortment 200g, barcode 5010204319537 is still scanning at £5 in my Ts, but must surely go down to 1p soon because the bb is July 21 2011! :T Also saw a bag of megabucks that had been reduced about three times, so may go to 1p. Can provide pic or bc if anyone wants.0 -
