  • Get to Tesco to be faced with another trout (shame coz my local usually has lovely staff and I end up with 2 trout in one day) didn't want to give me my refund as she though store policy over ranks SOG act, made her phone HO and low and behold I get a refund, I do love being right :)

got 10 x 20 p paxos in clay x and still some left this afternoon.

also got yesterday in chesterfield 4 x little kids tomato grow pots for 10p in kids gardening section, they are smaller than a yoghurt pot size.

    left some left on shelf.

not found any other 1p items or reduced stuff lately. that all from chesterfgield, clay x and alfreton.

The one woman at Customer Services is unbelievably nasty in Yeading I was overcharged recently for something, can't remember the circumstances but she refused to give me the DTD despite me reading out the wording from poster behind her head so she gave me just the difference, I phoned H.O. as I told her i would and got a £10 giftcard :rotfl::D
C.S. at Yeading scare me:rotfl:I asked them about taking a Morrisons £5 money off voucher once and they looked at me like I was mad and were really rude. I have'nt tried DTD there yet and am not sure if I'm brave enough!!!They seem a little bit on the ball in there and they were the only T's I went to that had their truffles going through at £2 when everywhere else was 1p! But they do seem to have regular stocks of chilli nuts in there and their are a few SA's who are lovely.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

That's why I say the 'NEW' Y for the other one... ;)
I don't go to Yeading very often as I'm put off when I see the traffic on the M4 and it's not towards home...
the guy upstairs is getting a good training of dtd atm :rotfl:
although I felt very sorry for him yesterday when his (a**hole) manager came over to approve dtd and he didn't know how to process it and has been told off(and I'm sure that bas***d manager didn't have an idea how to do it himself )

I'm on a mission tomorrow as lots of SELs end today too ;)
(oh, nikkilala, I'm gonna hit my local so BB is yours :rotfl:seen some SELs yesterday with today's expiry date)
Ok got it, the new Y and the old one:rotfl::rotfl:I noticed loads of sels for the 12th today so will be checking them tomorrow. Trouble is the writing is so small I have to keep bending down squinting to see it:)

Yes, big day for SELs tomorrow  Lots of home/kitchen items expire, including two dinner sets I've had my eye on for a while... one branded with that bloke from Saturday Kitchen and some other unbranded jobber. Bring your glasses! :j

  • Liverpool old swan and allerton both had the coloured stripy glasses - though I suspect that the stickers are being removed at allerton even as I type!

At old swan the woman realised they were wrong and tried to correct it at the till - great service but I wanted the DTD!

No 1p finds but they have fixed the scanner at Allerton - so I will be going there in the hope of finding a great bargain for everyone :D

paxos for 20p are in sandhurst.. only took 2 and there were loads left.... the SEL though was not in the right place , it was about 4 products to the left of the correct boxes... me thinks they did that on purpose..

oh and all the glasses had had their stickers removes, and no gordon ramsey dinner sets therre but there was a brand reduced to 8 pounds and about 4 boxed left.. 16 piece set with a swirl on it reduced from 15.. i scanned it to see if it would go through as 8 but it did,, darn it..

    i wouldn't bet on it!!!

i have had DTD about 5 times from my 3 local stores and every single store has got the glasses back in with the stickers on, I think the problem is they will remove the stickers on the ones on the shelf at the time(although this is a bit hit and miss too:T) and when new stock comes in they forget!

evening all, had a few quick peeks at the thread while at work but not had time to post, thanks to you lovely people for your supportive comments but takes more than a jealous newbie to scare me away, not getting rid of me that easy:D
