Looks like I've got a long email to write to Philip Clarke, could someone please let me know the email address?

I went to my local, and was lucky enough to get a BBQ, but I was unfortunate enough to be overcharged on the £10 meal deal as the offer had not come off.

So I approached a member of staff who was happy to get the checkout manager, she offered me a refund and then to put through at the correct price. So I said 'oh, do you not do double the difference any more?'
'Yes', she said, 'but I can't do that, only a manager can.'
Fair enough, so I asked for a manager.
35 minutes later after she was told he'd be 'there in 5'. He finally turns up, argues that DTD doesn't apply to items on offer, only 'normal SEL's'. What a load of rubbish!
Then I argue that there is a price sticker that says £10, so its still a sticker and it should count, and I'd be happy to write an email to head office, who according to him, have said offers don't count for DTD.

He says 'fine, I'll check the price' and off he wanders.
15 minutes later he finally comes back, and says that there is a suspicion that one of the products had been moved there incorrectly (and the SEL) and he will have to do a full investigation, check all the security tapes and only THEN might he consider my refund!!

He might as well have accused me of stealing there and then, so rude, and sent me off feeling humiliated simply for pointing out a mistake.

well done to lucky folks seams well random where they being found, i given up on harpics now never see them anymore must be done

i found three today in Braunton in amongst all the reduced stuff - well pleased, as they say "little things please little minds" :j

Thought i had cracked earlier went into Rose lane and they had a set of straighteners with SEL of £40 but the label was dated up until 5th of July, should have been £99, so theres me thinking im in for a whopping DTD - but no luck:eek: went through check out at £40 so looks like ive now got an excuse to go back tomorrow and take them back and have another look around for some more goodies.....
