:D I just went to T and bought 2 doves (cucumber and lemongrass) and when I ss them at the til they came up as £1 each, then the BOGOF applied too so you get 2 free with each voucher, rather then costing a small amount with 2 vouchers. I'm thinking of heading up there with a few more vouchers after lunch :):D

Interestingly enough Ive just bought 6 cans of dove
    2 x beauty
    2 x lemongrass
    2 x cucumber

all flagged at bogof at full price on SEL
lemon grass & cucmber went thro at £1 each
and I had £4.20 of bogof - sorry not sure which these applied to but as I also used 6 £1 off coupons it still made a profit I just thought I would mention it

Looks like they have taken the beauty off the bogof but left the sel up at FAILSWORTH MANCHESTER ~ if this helps anyone ..........DTD for free dove

Have fun ~ dont think I will be popping back as they are out of their half price chickens too and I do have one or two cans of dove already ........ ok maybe double figures of dove :rotfl:

  • Many thanks for the tipster about the Claude cat food - shelf sel showing 1.99 or 2.19 but scanning at 49p here in Westhill Aberdeen. A quick note now that the bogof on dove in Tesco is coming to an end - our local Co-op has a whole display of Dove at half price - started today - and they were more than happy to take my vouchers. Roll on 2.35 reduced to 1.17 with a voucher 17p - result!!!

Wahoo, found my first self found 1p item today..... sorry folks, not from Mr T's. This one was purely by chance when in WHSmiths today.

Calander 2011, The Wacky World of CATS.
Purple surround with cartoon cat pic on front, about A4 size side on.

Only picked it up as it was reduced to 50p and will come in handy for my son for the next few months. Should have seen my face when SA said, oh, thats 1p, should have been removed from the shevles as discontinued, but as we didn't i'll let you have it. :D Couldn't find a 1p thread for WH Smith, so I thought i'd post it here for the majority of 1p fans just in case there are any on shelves elsewhere. :T

Funny enough we have discussed doing a 1p thread for whs but at present staff are technically not allowed to sell them (unless they put them through on a general code and change the price). Although they are putting in self serve tills so once they are in we can start the thread :)
And I can print a list of items from work lol

My first visit to Mr t in 5 days and it was a pretty good shop.
4x £1 doves - used 4 coupons so extra £2 off my shopping
13x 7p tea bags (left 12 boxes on the shelf)
Didn't buy any but loads of the 1p jugits but after buying one last week decided I don't want anymore.
Loads of choc custard but no sel so wasnt gonna pay 90p for it
