That was Stebiz... in their local there was a promo where if you bought a pack of bacon you got a pack of bangers for free however the promo had ended but the bacon still had stickers on. So.... they were being charged for the sausages when according to the sticker they should have got them for free. So... they bought loads and got DTD at the CS desk.

tesco unsmoked back bacon rashers, triple pack (£4), stickered with FREE Butchers Choice Pork Sausages 454g when you buy this pack. Offer has ended but stock remains. Mine are display until 21 July. Sausages are £1.97 or 2 for £3. If you buy one, get DTD of £3.94, making it £2.03 for 3 packs of bacon and 1 pack of sausages. Multiply buys of 2 make it £2.50. HTH

Sounds like you live in Brighton. You lucky thing. Was on holiday there for a week last week. Stayed in an apartment on the Marina. Absolutely love the area (even took the bus to Eastbourne....you don't get views like that on a bus in Worcestershire). Anyway, there were quite a few Tesco Express around the area, I combed them for 1p items (I was on holiday and had the time.....husband wasn't that enthralled) - did not find one. Assumed the Managers were hot at removing them out of customers way. There were no 'proper' Tescos on my travels, though I did get to use the free coupon for a Pampers Starter pack at the Asda (About 10 miles to my nearest Asda at home....and then you have to pay for parking)

Yes, but the more who know, the less chance of people getting the items.

And seeing as most people agree that MSE is the friendly forum, whilst HDUK is not so friendly, regular MSE conributors would prefer it if it wasn't advertised to the HDUK masses, reducing the chances of us getting the 1p items.

Please could someone re-post the link to the pennt items list please.... i have just hadmy computer crash on me and lost all my bookmarks... i have a terrible memory and cant remember all of the barcodes for the items... i know you all seem to be disliking the penny items list at the moment, but i would just like to say, it really helps me out (even though i have yet to find any!) - and i promise i wont ask again for it.... will be purchasing in a printer this weekend so i can print off the list.... and coupons as i seem to be missing out massively here!!!!!

hese type of posts are just pointless and take up too much space on HUKD. You'd be so lucky to find some at any other store. Yes OP you had a good deal but really your just showing off about it, knowing full well the chances of anyone finding any anywhere else if very slim indeed.

Another one who is not happy about the SS being posted over there I'm afraid. We all seem to work together over here, and what has essentially happened is someone has given the treasure map to the pirates!!
