Mine scanned at £1 also - was that H**field? If so, lots of bacon stickered with the free sausages there! Just make sure you get pork sausages (not Cumberland pork or any variation of pork) otherwise you won't get DTD! HTH

no mine was col hatch, haven't been to h**field for a while as it is a bit out the way for me :)

Jugs also scanning at £1 in my store but managed to get 24 cartons of custard - the SA came over and asked how many i'd got and i said 24 and she keyed in the quantity etc for me so i didn't have to scan every one - i suppose as the SEL states 10p there isn't a problem. Lots of Tea Bags too but a different barcode.

I got 12 custards yesterday, was putting them through ss and the assistant came over to do the quantity for me then did a double take at the price, she thought she had made a mistake with the quantity when it said 10 for £1, there was no sel but i said thats the price on the shelf lol :)

I guess the hostility towards HUKD will mean nobody will want to pursue the new 1p bargain spotted by tracyjanepudding on that site:

Just went to my local Tesco Express in Kirkby in Ashfield, Notts. Not only are the Mint Thins a penny, but so are the Choccy Orange Segments. Shelf price says £1.04 but at the till they are £0.01, so I have lots of yummy 'Choclit'. Enjoy why you can.

I stopped in this Store for Petrol this morning, I didn't have time to look for 1p items as was taking eldest to his 'Limo Day' at school but a woman came in behind me and picked up 1 box of each Mint Thins and Orange segments. I asked if she was a 'friend of martins' and she shook her head and said no. Anyway she asked for a price check and the SA said £1.04 so she put them back.

If this was you then 'Hello':)

I am one of the most disorganised persons I know. I blame it on the Autism. And going by her 5 minute rant she knew fine will there are/were 1p items in the store so by her seeing the receipt I wasn't informing her of something she didn't already know. She said they are not allowed to sell them and even got the security card and two other CS to back her up. She wasn't wearing any of it when I told her about the newspaper article. I can't seem to find it now so I can print it off.

Oh and the staff in the Ellon store were only too happy to sell them to me. I asked if they had any of the 1p small boxes of roses and she asked how many I wanted and when I said 'how many have you got?' she came back with 3 boxes from the store room.

To be honest they accepted your money for the transaction so contract done. Only problem is she will now have her senses heightened to the highest level for any 'friends of Martin' and in true sour trout fashion has probably warned her store manager so my advice is scan quickly in short bursts and pay quickly :D. Good luck avoiding her radar!

12 boxes of tea for me yesterday!!!!

In my local today were 2 of the milk jugs, both with different barcodes. Took them to the pricechecker and one scanned at 1p one at £1. Barcode for 1p jug is 5000295143142

JumbleJack, you were wanting the 1p jug barcode..
