May I ask which store you got the kokos? They scanned at £3.99 for me in Llantrisant

Got some a few weeks ago (green box) in FF Swansea, but only pink ones for the last couple of weeks which scan at full price

No sign of the 1p mice in Portsmouth North Harbour......but 18 boxes of Roses. I've got a couple of bags full so am taking them in to work tomorrow. What an expensive way of buying a few chocolates it would be if I was paying £1.32 a pop.

These are definitely one of the more wide spread penny items. Shame the quality (and variation in flavours) has gone downhill.

I have a mac and have the same problem, they are always slow in updating the software for the new operating systems. I wouldn't swap my mac for a windows machine for all the tea in China but it is most irritating that mac users are at the back of the queue when it comes to software updates of this type. Is there an option to send feedback or a don't have a printer option? if so ask for the coupon to be posted to you. It is usually quite quick but beware that they usually have a short validity.

Anyone else unhappy with the selection in the roses boxes though.

Can't complain for 1p but really, where are the soft centres: strawberry, orange etc.
I do love the purple ones though! There have been 4 toffee/caramel type ones in each box so far. :(

No, I don't think you get the full selection, just the 6 that are pictured on the back of the box. Well, that's all that have been in mine. None of the soft centres which would have been nice.

For those having arguments and refusals at the checkout,

Id advise you to firstly call Customer Services on 0800 505555 to make a complaint and the also put it in writing to the top man

philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com.. I did this last week regarding my humiliating experience, im yet to receive a reply but it has only been a few days.

@ "ThumbsUpBoy" you should make a complaint, your brother was provoked and the SA was well out of order in regards to the china reference.
The security has no right to handle anyone in that way. If I was you id also speak to the police..Just for some advise in the first instance if nothing else.

@ "Laura Cello" you should complain too, the same happened to me but I was shouted at across the whole store..!

@ "Bootsalebargains" thanks for letting us know about what HQ said.

Ive done a little research and found the below

    http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/bills/article-1705049/Shoppers-flock-to-Tesco-for-1p-sale-bargains.html

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1314395/Tesco-shoppers-flock-bargains-sale-just-1p.html

The key point on both stories :-

A Tesco spokesman said: ‘This is no computer glitch. These are discontinued products which have gone beyond the "reduced to clear" period.

'Our view is it is better these items are sold rather than being thrown away.

'It is completely random as to whether people come across the 1p items. But there are going to be some lucky customers out there who find the most amazing bargains.'

Anyway after my first and failed attempt last week I tried again.. No Roses left but the shelf had been restocked at some point..

However I came across a Mouse and successfully purchased it.. Im no longer a 1p virgin... :T:rotfl::T

The below is a pic of the SEL..
