Bought 5 Belgian Chocolates today at my local Mr. T - SEL was £1.25 (save £3.75), but they scanned at £5!

Went to CS desk, three supervisors came around, they said no DTD as "it was a genuine mistake". !!!!!!. Regardless of big blue board with DTD policy behind them, still refused DTD.

Got my JTD, and sent an email to Tesco HQ to get their act together - this is not the first time they refused DTD there. Not happy. Awaiting positive response (vouchers/money card), if not will definitely pursue further.

"it was a genuine mistake" doh? Does that imply the other thousands of mistakes are deliberate!!!!!

It is Tesco who offer DTD on their mistakes, not the staff in the store, and they obviously need to be trained to implement Tesco policy not their own. If I remember correctly, Tesco were getting a lot of complaints to Trading Standards about their price anomalies and that is when the introduced DTD (to encourage customers to go to CS desk and not to Trading Standards).

If you are not happy with your response, escalate it ... whilst I am sure Philip Clarke has better things to do, I am pretty sure you would get satisfaction from emailing his office, copying them in with your correspondence:

after you fill in your details and you get the voucher page there is a box with 1 in, click on the arrow and you can print as many as you want, i just printed 6

yes it offers a choice of how many, but there is a unique number on the coupons and it prints off all the same number on each coupon, so the store won't get reimbursed, which in turn will spoil it for future coupon use for us all.

I personally have been using 2 per transaction as the Dove are bogof in Tesco, but if you read the small print is says only 1 per transaction. Best to draw as little attention to the coupons as possible and better to look at the bigger picture, if the store is reimbursed, there is less focus on the coupon.

I personally have loads of 'creative' junk emails and addresses (even my pets have several of their own) from the Currys and PC world days. They are ideal for coupons that let you keep re-registering and re-printing.

You must never do this, all your coupons will have the same barcodes and the store will only be re-imbursed for the first one.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

If you do this you will damage the coupon policy in the supermarket and they will stop taking coupons so everyone loses out.

If you want to learn about coupon useage check the coupon thread for the rules. We all love using coupons but never print more than 1 doing this unless its a PDF which Dove isn't. Press the back button for a second coupon, then input different details if you wish so that all coupons have different barcodes.

Been to my latest T earlier but no more roses:( however where they should have been was a SEL for 1p? don't understand why some trouts are refusing to sell them if they are actually marked at that price.
