Don't bother trying for the Belgian chocs in Stortford as they still go through at £5Saving money right, left and centre0 -

Found some Roses in Gloucester. Thanks to everyone who posts.
My tip for hunting out the 1p bargains if you can't get on the internet in the store is to take photos with your phone of the bargains from your PC screen. This is what I did and then I was able to check all the details and could see that the barcode matched from the photo. HTH0 -
10p find
Sharwoods ready to wok Thai style ribbon noodles 5000354200960
Many thanks Gardenia, just managed to get 10 of these at the Wishaw store. Had an SEL of 10p too!! It's worth mentioning these are the wet style ones and not the dried ones. Mine have a use by date of Nov 11 so plenty of time to eat them!! There was another SEL beside it for 35p for some other type of noodle, sorry can't remember what kind. Pad Thai maybe???
No sweetcorn (empty space & SEL of 8p), harpics or any of the chocolate finds. Although had a good giggle at the pricechecker as there were full price Koko truffles abandoned!!!:rotfl:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

got 15 of the noodles a few days ago; same BBE.
they're delicious!
made myself a noodle stir fry last night. 10p noodles + 8p sweetcorn + free soy sauce (TMF) = delicious and cheap meal.
for dessert i had a pack of mini roses.
washed down with some free wine (from DTD days).
all that for 19p AND i've still got a frying pan full of stir fry. martin would be proud! lol:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
