1p finds at Tesco thread

I asked the girl on the self scan to cancel the £5 one, she seemed confused and just altered the price so it too cost £1!

So look for the barcode 5052319324099 for the £1 one, it must be old stock from last year.

Managed a whole outer of puttenesca sauce and 6 Harpics as well.

Thanks thats really good of you, i went to the till with mine and obviously had the wrong code "192" so will keep a look out for ones with "099" code

Just called in to tesco
Welshpool, and I have to say it's the nicest tesco iv been to, shame their price checker didn't work. Got 14 harpics, no roses or truffles. Looked at the jugs but couldnt check the prices

"an outer" is basically the cardboard tray/box that the product comes in, comes from my days as a student working saturdays in a food shop!

The puttenesca sauce sachets come in a cardboard tray with low sides and a high back, and are wrapped in clear plastic from the factory. When the shelf is stocked the plastic can be removed and the tray slid on the shelves, especially with that sort of product which would get messed up very easily.

can some kind soul talk me through the phone app- i have an andriod phone. Does the app tell you what your own store has in stock? thus saving you the petrol? or am i getting excited for nowt?

What department are these jugs in?

I just take the product to a quiet till and ask the cashier if they can price check the item as the label has fallen off the shelf.

On 1p items,, I just chance it at the self scan, I then either pay or find ive left my wallet in the car and get the SA to cancel the product.

Sorry I got the last 6 Roses on Sunday! Spent ages looking at the rim blocks but hadn't memorised which ones they were so left it - are they all gone now?

Got some mexicorn @ 8p & some of the 10p spaghetti this morning in Stirling. Didn't want to chance loads of the corn as I'd lost my list with the barcode on!!! So when I go out later, I'll pop back in and get somemore. There was plenty on the shelf if anyone is going there before me, no SEL but scanned at 8p. Maybe the spaghetti is a Scottish only thing then??

I'll have time to browse so will update later if I find anything else

Ok just back from KILMARNOCK, got 12 Roses, 4 boxes of the choc Brasils, and 6 Harpic, saw the BRUNO DRIED DOG FOOD but hadnt noted the barcode down, had loads of it so just remember to take the barcode no along and I AM SURE YOU WILL get some at 24p. NO PASTA BAKE OR SHARWOOD READY TO WOK THAI STYLE RIBBON NOODLES.:T
