1p finds at Tesco thread

My post didn't work Found alot of the items but wasn't willing to risk as all the price scanners were unfortunately/coincidentally(?) "out of order" at our local Tescos...

Can't find any of the items mentioned on Tesco.com either...

I dont know, but have you tried looking for the large posts in the clothing dept, thats where they normally are

i got three of the cup toys for the boys for xmas , lots left of shelf. popped in when hubby finished work and someone had cleared the shelf. at least 12-14 of them gone !!!! so come on , who are you ???? lol was the banbury store

Legendmum, I'm gutted that Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock were such barren hunting grounds, I was going to do them tomorrow - what am I going to do with a day shopping if I can't raid Tescos for bargains! That said, I got 4 of the last 8 coffees in Pembroke Dock on Saturday, wish I'd taken the rest, but hubby made me put them back, as we'd just got 4 jars of the Lidl coffee. I haven't been able to find any of the other stuff, not that I haven't tried, but there is only so many minutes you can wander round the store before someone starts looking sideways at you.

Thanks Op on the Cuponks! Managed to get 5 all for Christmas pressies, so very chuffed!

Did find umberells, picked up black,pink and white striped ones but scanned at full price,did I get the wrong ones or has that ship sailed?

Also,when I found the Kilamanjaro coffee having looked for it at two different stores, it scanned on the price checker as 1p so took two bags and left four for others but when I went through the self scanner it came up as 'unknown item'! Needless to say, over came the 'Till Police' and called over supervisor who said it should have been taken off the shelf and I couldn't buy it!

Did not want to puch my luck so just mumbled,"oh kay", and scuttled out with my Cuponks!

No shampoo, looked like it had been rifled through for said barcode and 07's left! After 8's scanning at full price at all my locals, plain choc the same! Couldn't find the choc ladies socks or bags!

But for my first 1p bargain I am very thankful, it has crossed off several pressies so I am delighted!

I would still go after 8 hunting as Tesco hwest as they must be changing the seasonal aisle to christmas stuff soon as every other tesco has done already! I also left after 8s in Pembroke so defo not a lost cause!!!:)

I just got in from Tesco Extra in Hexham. Got 5 lots of coffee (loads left) 5 pairs of socks (dozens of pairs left) and the last 2 remaining head and shoulders. I went through the normal check out and the sales assistant started off really friendly, but got grumpier and grumpier and called the supervisor over twice! The supervisor said it was Tesco policy to 'sell it as the price it goes through at the tills' - thought that was interesting!
A bit embarrassing as everyone in the queue was staring, will definately go through the self scans from now on.

Wasn't sure which Cuponks were 1p so after wondering around for 20 mins trying to find a price checker I stupidly decided to go to a manned till. Asked SA to check price and yep 1p. She said 'I dont think I can sell these to you' and went off to find supervisor. Came back and apologised but no there 'is a problem' and could not sell them.

Wish I had gone thru self scan now, could have just asked them to void them if wrong. Was tired and wasn't thinking straight. hey ho.

Really pleased so many people managed to get the Cuponks I posted.

Had a try to get some other bargains myself, and there were no umbrellas, no shampoo, no After Eights, no coffee, no socks... In fact I couldnt find a single 1p bargain today.
