1p finds at Tesco thread

  • My Tesco had the After Eights on the shelf, but checked and though it was the correct barcode they were full price.

No toys or anything else, for 1p.

The El paso sauce was there today but full price.
  • No bags of After Eights in my local store at all. :(

The shelf where the bags of coffee should have been was empty, and there was a hand written sign on the shelf edge that said for staff not to put out any more stock because the price was wrong. Rumbled! :D

Found the Head & Shoulders, and bought three for 3p - but then decided to buy a meal deal for lunch for £2, so a grand total of £1.97 down in the end.

Can't catch on to this money saving lark! :rotfl:

Picked up two shirts for OH and my dad yesterday, long sleeved pale yellow shirts with a pale yellow and blue striped tie, really smart, both scanned at 1p.

Now for the confusing bit - the shirts must have been out of the packets at some time as the barcodes are for different shirts on both packs, one is for a pink shirt with tie and the other for a white shirt with tie, both long sleeved.
Barcodes are - 5052003641686 for the white and 5052003641990 for the pink.

If you have the time and a price checker just have a crafty scan of any likely looking shirts.

The shirts are in a plastic packet with a yellow circular £6 sticker on the front, and are F&F easycare.

Also got 2 packs of F&F "MAGIC" bum, tum and thigh shaper tights in black, single pair in a black box, marked at £4 and scanned at 1p - barcode 5052003533448 for the extra large (mine :o) and 5052003533387 for the small (for DD :))

This is a great thread but I fear I am becoming addicted!

I actually went shopping this morning with a list of the 1p items and myself and my friends managed to get-

3 of the toys (SA questioned my friend about these, but let them through)
    Lots of the Stig socks
1 pair of the Daddy Cool socks
2 packs of the brown opaque tights, only small ones left so I will have to squeeze myself into them
    2 of the 5p mugs

So thanks to everyone who posted these great bargains. :)
