At last I have found a 1p item in Durham. they have restocked the roses:j I so nearly didn't get them. I asked on the clothing till for a price check and she said oh they are not on the system and we can't sell them. she then said to another sa these should be taken off the shelves. I thought I would chance it on the till. the sa scanned them without looking then one wouldn't scan and she noticed it was 1p. she said oh I am sure we can't sell these something was mentioned about 1p items. she said if they are coming up with a price I can't see why we can't sell them but I had better check. she asked the sa on the other till who said I don't know you have better ask. so she pressed her light but carried on putting the shopping through. after a while she said well if noone is coming to tell me what to do I will put them though. I put super fast and rushed uot of the shop before the supervisor arrived:rotfl:
they have also restocked the harpic
I will be on a high for the rest of the day now:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Are you sure you got the right ones? Did you check the barcode? They should only have 7 mints in as it's a mini pack.

Just back from 2 Tesco's and neither had any 1p items. One store had a SEL of 1p for the roses so was not surprised to see the space empty. Did manage to get a few tins of sweetcorn in Deysbrook store that had a SEL of 8p. :j0

No luck in Bangor (NI), only thing that I found was the harpic toilet fresher for 12p- there was a newer variety for a full price with a box of 12 of 12p ones hidding behind it.
Any other finds in NI? There wasn't even space for the 1p items on the shelves- I bet the staff got it all instead putting it out...
