Product is reduced down to 1p if it's discontinued and prepared to be wasted. Some stores are clearing up shelfs with 1p products, another ones don't care so much. In my store staff can't buy or take 1p items - everything is going straight to compactor (such a waste :mad: )

btw. I've got yesterday 9 mini roses (sel £1.27) and 27 sweetcorns (sel 55p) :j

been to 3 T's before work and grabbed 6 trays, sounds alot but will share 2 each with mum and sis

I nearly fainted when the SA told me!!!
can't believe i didn't have a clue, last time the sunflower oil glitch was on checked on the website and it didn't say this, storefinder site must be totally out of date, yipee, no more sunday evening glitch blues!

Went back this morning hoping they had restocked overnight.
no sweetcorn
no roses
no harpic:(
the shelves have been stripped, i asked a young SA nearby if they had any stock in the back.. she scanned the barcode fron the sweetcorn label... non in stock, she said its being discountinued and may not be back. so buy while you can

My neighbour also says it's stock they no longer want and it costs them more to safely dispose of it,so they get rid of it for 1p .... BUT why have the organic napolea toms gone back to £1.09 if they arnt stocking it any more !! Also after Easter he said they had 500 mint aero eggs that hadn't been sold .... But they never appeared for 1p !!!

I was in Tesco Rutherglen yesterday and got the Roses :j. Only took 5 as it was my first time lol . I may return soon. Best thing is they have a price checker scanner that usually works!
