1p finds at Tesco thread

Is the sweetcorn tinned or frozen?

Just back from my store and still no 1p bargains! Was hoping they would have restocked! Was going to drive to Tesco 15 miles away but as its Fathers Day thought I had better not!

Technically you're not to sell the 1p stock, for example we removed all the 1p sweets and gave them to staff, so you might find your store watches for these 1p labels and actively removes the stock from sale!

It's tinned sweetcorn. My local actually had an 8p SEL, and another had normal SEL. Both scanned at 8p.

Many thanks for the information - that explains why my local two stores never have any of the 1p or other low priced offers - I wondered if the staff nabbed them:rotfl:

Little tip - make sure you dish it up with custard, as it's super dry! Probably why they have replaced it with a new recipe :rotfl:

Or extra thick double cream:rotfl:That's what I did, it is very rich but I love it.
