1p finds at Tesco thread

Hiya sorry don't want to be a bad penny but just before I go today, wondered if anyone in the Bristol/weston super mare area had been to any of the stores and had some luck or none at all? It's a mammoth round trip and like Angelina I'm wondering whether the bargains will offset the fuel cost!!!! My Tuesday round trip for Easter bargains was largely fruitless and I can't afford to do the same again!! Also has anyone found the Koko truffles/Thorntons/Roses in Express stores or is it only Metro or larger? Many thanks xx

T£sco in Stirling appear to be on the ball. Was overjoyed at the amount of mini roses cartons on the shelf. Took only 1 to run it through the SS, with the intention of returning to get the rest when it worked.....

Ah well, you win some, you lose some. No Koko to be seen but there was a friendly assistant there stocking everything up so maybe I was too early??

Can you please confirm if its only one colour box of Mega Blocks that works. I have seen pink/lilac boxes in store but I'm sure I've only read mention of blue/red boxes.

found another 9 roses this morning and 6 harpic rim bloc, be careful with the rim bloc as there is two with exactly the same writing on, but the package colours are slightly different one is dark blue but the ones you want are the light blue package with barcode 5011417549711
on my way out i noticed
green giant sweetcorn with peppers 198g barcode 5010046005001
marked up on sel at better than half price 8p. went through the till at 8p but im happy with that:j

Managed to pick up a single pack of Smarties mini eggs and a couple of Roses in Pompey (city) and a few more roses from Pompey (North Harbour yesterday). Nice to bag a few penny items again.

Might try another local store now...
