1p finds at Tesco thread

:j:j:jgot my first 1p find today, tried 3 boxes of roses and went through ok with shoppping so went back and got 9 more.



also tolkd person behinbd me in queue. first was at ss then 2nd lot was at a chekout in alfreton.:beer:


will try chesterfield tommorrow.



anyonw know of any finds in this area.:o

Finally have had a proper look at this thread since a while, the chocolate hype got hold of me!:D Went to T's and bought my second 1p find, the truffles, was really hoping for the thorntons or roses, got some rim block too. All on SS.

Tried looking for the chilli peanuts but couldn't find any, does anyone have a pic?

Found my first 1p items today - got 14 boxes of roses and got some of the hannah montana 5p wrapping paper.

Well they scaned at full price in the 3 stores I checked today so must be a problem at only a few stores - any idea which stores are having the 1p Roses price glitch?

Happy Dayz!!!! Heres my recent finds......

Don't often get the 1p finds.... only had the wrapping paper in the past, but 20 packs from 2 express stores should last a while!:j

Yesterday got 2 x finest strawberry 50p tart and left about 4, and the other day I got 1 of the chocolate ones, leaving about 6.... don't think I'll bother with this one any more, even at 87p, rather rich!

Today I was very happy to find the Roses, took a dozen boxes, and pushed the remaining half dozen right to the back in the hope that another savvy mse'er finds them!!! Thought I also had the Truffles, was sure bar code matched but scanned at £2.99. Slight panic as I needed them removed from shopping at self scan and had already put through 3 Roses. Slightly dim, non troutish young assistant so all was ok.

Also, purchaced seperatly, I got 4 of the tumbler glasses with coloured stripes stickered at 4 for £3, charged £1.25 each, £5 at checkout, made sure I got a young sales guy and brought a few bits of kids clothes as cover.
Handed £4 DTD at customer services without asking. I think there is a reduction on the glasses if you buy 6? so only get 4 at a time. Very happy for 25p each!!! :beer:
Thanks to all OP's for these finds..... we have 2 Main Mr T's where I live, and neither store has a self scanner even though I'm in a City!!!!! Both stores are pretty rubbish really, they don't even have space to stock boxes of mega blocks :mad: LOL.

May the happy Dayz continue... I'm defo getting better at this. :T

We found boxes of the roses today, rushed to self scan to check price, came up on screen recall SA came over & said sorry i cant sell that to you :mad: but we got our first 1p princess with jelly beans only ours never had the jelly beans :rotfl::rotfl:Ta to all involved keep up the good work :T

Went to 3 different tesco today to find some KoKo's and thorntons and found none....but did manage to pick u 2 more megablocks . got 4 now! they were just on a shelf with the rest, but these 2 had the half price stickers on them (none of the others did). had to ask for DTD though as she tried putting through just single. Going to Blackpool tomorrow to take the OH out for fathers day and might just be google-ing where the nearest Tesco is first (i might need to run in for a drink)
