I was in a store today that I wouldn't normally be in and managed to find the Koko truffles (be warned, shortish shelf life but for a woman it shouldn't be a problem ). In the store I was in, they were with the Fathers Day stuff.

I also bagged the last 2 mega bloks on the shelf and got my £60 DTD although I think I'll be making a complaint as the woman serving me was only going to give me £30. I gave her a gentle nudge that it should be DTD and she said she'd have to get manager approval. All the while my eldest was playing up and I had to stand around and wait for a manager to comply with company policy.

Chocolate for 1p? I think I'll be going to Tesco at lunchtime, lol. Not that I need to be buying a trolley load of chocolate.....!

Found my first 1p item this week...the fuzzy pink socks with diamante heart. Got two pairs for DD who liked them so much I went back for the other three pairs on the shelf. That's one pair for her best friend and four pairs for her, lol.

This is a great thread and one I check every time before I go to Tesco. I do try not to buy things just because they're reduced...even 1p is 1p wasted if you don't actually want or need the item after all...but the Crispo olives are a favourite anyway, the sunflower oil a good staple, the kids really like the 20p pasta sauce (which I would never have looked at twice until I read this thread) and I've now got two years worth of Value dishwasher tablets stashed away, lol! So keep them coming, folks!

All the 1p chocolate has gone in my store, we took it off sale and shared it out between staff as a treat!

Thanks for letting us know this happens, cause I'm sure my local remove all 1p items from customer view and no doubt let staff have them or buy them. Don't suppose you work in the Redditch branch to confirm my thoughts?

We found some in my local today - as the cashier was scanning them she said they had they were lovely, they had some in the staff canteen. :rotfl::rotfl:

Not quite a 1p bargain, but Just back from tesco's found girls Halloween tights, priced £2.50 but scanned for 50p! something else to put away...:D
