You guys need a smart phone or at least one you can get email access on. I have an Android phone and use a combination of shopping apps and (if I'm in a rush) a copy & paste email of the latest glitches.

No caz, what I actually need is a master class in using Apps on my HTC Wildfire Android phone - perhaps finding the time to actually read the instructions might help :o:o :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I found my first ever 1p item in Tesco Extra Reading (Napier Rd) today:

    12pk of Cadbury Creme Eggs

There were only two left on the shelf in amongst all the other sweets. I put them through self scan and the supervisor was stood beside me - he didn't even bat an eyelid :D

I was amazed today when i went in tesco express and got the bargain of a century. They had cadburys creme eggs, lindor eggs, mini eggs - large bags, and mini eggs in tubes, and malteasers bunny rabbits all for one pence each...clearly marked on the shelf. I swept everything off the shelf into my basket - which was completely overflowing and spent £2.22 on SEVEN carrier bags overflowing of chocolate.

I must say, the other shoppers didn't seem impressed..no-one seemed to have noticed this insane bargain until I started sweeping the shelf - and as soon as they realised what they were missing out on I was getting tutted at by the other shoppers.

Well my attitude is, if you snooze you loose. This is the first time I have ever struck lucky like this so I thought I would take full advantage.

I think I wound them up further by waving my ten foot long receipt around above my head saying 'seven carrier bags full for £2.22''. :)

We are all envious but given the chance would have done the same. Exception being if oap wanted some etc.
I'm amazed staff didn't swipe em before they got to the shelf if they were aware of price. Wow! Fab find!

Absolutely, I was amazed the staff hadn't swiped them all. In fact I was half expecting one of the staff to say something about there being a limit per customer or something, but there was a lovely lady on the till, who was brilliant - and said well done on getting this bargain. Nice to come up trumps sometimes :)
