1p finds at Tesco thread

got 6 jars of the pasta sauce 20p each and 4 pairs of Easter egg ladies socks at 25p each bargin thank you spotters

98 sheets of paper for 49p. And I thought 1p items were urban myths! I've wiped out my 3 local Express stores so apologies to anyone who didn't get

Has anyone managed to get any other 1p items at express stores please?.
do all express stores have self scan tills I don't remember seeing any in our 2.

No never found anything else
Of the 4 I just visited 2 had SS 2 didn't
I didn't even see the SS in the last one and at the last minute who'd in queue for a normal till saw it and pretended I'd forgotten something and nipped back to the SS!

Out of the 3 I was at only 1 had SS but neither of them were working, maybe because it was 11pm?

I got a 2 pack of kids 'I love my mummy' socks for £1 from £2. They were on their own in a reduced bin but no reduced price sticker.

Ooh I have a couple of express quite close, in the stores with no ss did staff comment on the price of 1p items?

Yes but still put them through, I just commented that I'd bought them before and thought they were being discontinued , also added couple jars of 20p pasta sauce to look less suspicious!
