    thanks
i finally got the 20p pasta sauce today

    one to maybe seek
mentioned to SA that sauce was 20p which she thought was great
and she mentioned that last week she got
Tesco own brand TIN curry sauce for 4p
unfortunately thats all the info i could get , none on shelf in mine today.

It's the value stuff. 4p / 8p seems to be its usual price. Haven't tried it myself.

To be honest I just use it to bulk out my home-made ucrries or I warm a can of it when we have fish and chips. It's not very spicy, middle of the road so everyone in the family can eat it. HAs little bits of dried fruit in it and onion. It's cheaper than buying tinned tomatoes to bulk out the curry. And at 4p a can, you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the thread and the list, btw, I've now got enough Hello Kitty and Cars eggs for my 5-a-side team (read:kids) for a long while. I've also got plenty of the other stuff but would love to find the tinned ham!

    I ho, I ho, it's off to Tesco I go. :j:money:
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

If it's the tinned deli ham you're talking about then I don't think you're missing much. I got one the other day for 72p, OH had it on his sandwiches for work and ended up throwing them away (very unusual for him to throw food away - he eats ANYTHING) he said it was really, really salty.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

all easter lines went to 1p on the 16th may with the exception of creme eggs and mini egg and the line that generally can be sold out side the easter window i.e the gold bunnies.

Got told today that ALL Easter products not already reduced will be knocked down to 75% off on Monday, this includes creme eggs. :T

Back from Newtonabbey, No 1p finds, though there were loads loads of the 20p pasta sauces.
Little disapointed, but then I got a £33 shop down to £12 with mocs, instore deals, and RTD from the meal deals, so happy with that........then I done another another shop for 2 more £10 meal deals with the Turners, as they now have it on in store :)

I visited that store today for the first time and I have to say I wouldn't rush back. Got trouted by the biggest Alan Carr wannabe I've ever come across but it was late in the day, DS had thrown up all over the car and I just wanted home so let him have the receipt as per managements instructions. I think I'll stick to North Down :T

    morning all,
No 1p finds for me, but 10 boxes of the 27p tissues (again!)
I cleaned the store last week, thinking they were last ones, but yesterday they were there again (hey!)
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A

They are the one things I haven't bought. I keep reminding myself of Martin's mantra: do I need it? I don't think I've bought tissues in 15 years: good old loo roll works a treat and I don't have to give up precious worksurface to a box of tissues...

I still have to exercise restraint when I see such a bargain though :)
