Found 14 jars of caperberries in Cambridge! Woop woop! Now to find something that I can eat them with. I've heard smoked salmon is good with them, but the thing is I'm used to getting food for 1p, so the smoked salmon is going to be out of my budget....:rotfl:
my OH loves them and I found 2 jars so he is v happy. You can use them to make tartare sauce, add to pizza toppings or even add to a pasta sauce if you can find any cheap toms anywhere.....

my OH eats them like olives but I'll ask him what else they can be used with.

We are getting a LOT of replies and traffic on this thread (which is great), but the thread is getting to the stage where we need a new 1p Tesco finds Part 2, kinda thing.

As ThePearce has contributed the most usefully and positively with the spreadsheet, etc, I vote that it would be brill if he kicked the next one off. It is hard for newbies to find the spreadsheet as OP hasn't included it in post 1. This way it would be easier for ThePearce to update it too on the original post.

    Anyone with me?

Ps, just want to say a huge thanks to ThePearce for taking the trouble to help everyone by collating the info so well!

I'm in total agreement with you jumblejack

why do you think that, as this thread only has 1536 posts on it. Nothing compared to the Tesco DTD threads which only got renewed at 10,000 posts!

In thread terms this really isn't classed as a long thread yet by a long, long way :D

I've previously pm-ed MSE Jenny & MSE Archna asking for https://www.pennyitems.co.uk to be added to the first post but haven't heard anything back yet.

definatly agree with you. the tesco DTD thread was running along at incredable speed. i would go to the loo and make a cuppa and there would be 4 more pages to read. and over night there could be in excess of 30 pages to catch up on in the morning.

this thread is fine as it is.

The dtd thread had a regularly updated first post though. That is my point. Newbies have to read through all the posts looking for things which can easily be put on the original post.

There are in fact two price checkers in the store- both functioning. One is in the menswear section, on a pillar facing in towards the center of the shop. The other is on a pillar in aisle 11, facing the tills.

However, there was not one chuffing penny item to be found!:rotfl:

If the penny items link is not added to the first post then I am also with jumblejack, if it does get added then probably leave it as it is
